Sous Chef for new Seafood Concept in Notting Hill

An amazing opportunity to become part of a new opening of an exciting seafood brand. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic sous chef to join our team in Notting Hill.

The the role of Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and managing the kitchen in his absence. We are looking for someone creative with a “can do” attitude and who genuinely enjoys cooking and is not afraid of hard work.
You would help the head chef maintain the budgeted General Practitioner , driving standards and training the team. There will also be great scope for creativity, with regular menu changes and a large offering of specials.
This role would suit a junior sous chef looking for their 1st full sous chef position. The successful candidate will need good communication skills and be able to work in a high pressured, fast paced environment.
Our Sous Chef will be involved in a range of duties including:

Fresh food preparation
Embracing our food culture
Managing wage targets
Ordering
Stock control
Meeting food safety and cleaning standards.
Have ability to lead and inspire the team.
Be meticulously organised and punctual
Be passionate and driven
