An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced sous chef to join our busy gastro pub. Our focus is very much on quality, presentation, flavour and seasonal ingredients with regularly changing menus and daily specials.
The position requires a confident and highly skilled person to be our number 2 working closely with the head chef to help lead this already established gastro pub to the next level.
A good understanding of HACCP, COSHH, Health and safety, Costings and Food Hygiene is essential.
To be considered, the ideal candidate must :
Have solid training and a proven track record in high end gastro pubs or restaurant working with seasonal ingredients.
Be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced kitchen.
Have strong leadership, management and communication skills.
Be passionate, hard working, committed at all times and be flexible.
Comfortable working with high volumes.
Be eligible to live and work in the UK.
