The Sous Chef position requires responsibility for food quality and consistency, menu development (with the Head Chef and.
Co-owner) as well as assisting with supplier selection and tight control of food General Practitioner and kitchen wage costs.
A full understanding of food hygiene and health and safety requirements is essential.
Excellent communication skills, a very good command of English and the ability to build,
Nurture and maintain a cohesive, dedicated and skilful team is a pre-requisite.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
• Formal catering qualifications
• Consistently high standards and great attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, calm under pressure and can-do approach.
• Passion for training, nurturing and team building.
• Passion for food generally, and Mexican food in particular.
