We are seeking highly dedicated, passionate and charismatic Sommeliers to support our Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden operation. You will be working closely with our sister company Petersham Cellar to ensure the highest level of wine service and guest satisfaction. You will assist the restaurant waiter team with the service and work closely with the Head Sommelier to provide recommendations and knowledge of the wine. We are ideally looking for Sommeliers with a WSET qualification. But more importantly, we are looking for Sommeliers that are keen to keep learning and developing their knowledge.

Necessary experience and Skills

Previous experience as a Sommelier, preferably within a high quality, destination restaurant.

Passion for wine, food and guest care

Strong knowledge of Italian wine

Excellent communication skills

Organized and able to meet deadlines

Previous London restaurant / hotel experience.

WSET qualification is highly desirable

Good knowledge of Micros, EPOS or similar.

Quickly builds rapport with team and guests.
