We are looking for someone to provide support to the wine team in the form of mise en place, cellar work, cleaning and care of glassware and, during service time, serving aperitifs, digestifs and wine, clearing and replacing glassware and maintaining clean work stations and back-of-house areas. Also, during service, commis may be required to assist other restaurant staff.
This however is a beverage focused position and one that will involve working shifts on the floor as a Sommelier and shifts in the dispense bar. You will also be sommelier in charge when the head sommelier is off the floor. We will provide on the job and accredited external training, tastings and also provide trips to distilleries, breweries and wineries. This is a role for a passionate, career driven professional.
It's based on working 8 shifts over 5 days with Sunday's as a day off with another day off during the week.
The restaurant is open for Dinner, Monday - Saturday and Lunch from Tuesday - Saturday.
