Som saa is a Thai bar and restaurant which opened last year near Spitalfields Market in East London. We have won a string of awards and received wonderful feedback from guests. Our food is fantastic and has received Rave reviews, but our bar is taken equally seriously and we believe we have one of the best all round bars in London – unique cocktails, an explorative wine list, wine, bespoke teas, exciting Beers, and even some great non-alcoholic cocktails too. Our current bar manager Christina has been an integral member of the opening team and done an inspiring job setting us up. As she moves on, we’re now looking for our next bar manager to carry the som saa bar onward and upwards (or perhaps just onward in your own way).
Most of all, we’re looking for kind hearted and passionate people who fundamentally love drinks and people. No flair bartenders, bullies or ‘mixologists’ need apply. Great customer service and enthusiasm count for a lot. experience in great cocktail bars is obviously essential but we would rather find a happy colleague with a positive attitude that wants to learn, than someone who feels they know it all. We can help the right person to fit in, learn the ropes and grow into the next great bar manager.
