Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Socio Economic Support Administrator to join our team based in Thamesmead. The successful applicant will join us on a full time permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary of £23,377 per annum.
The Socio Economic Support Administrator role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Peabody's ambitious plans for Thamesmead. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and hard working individual to provide project support within the Thamesmead socio-economic team. Duties will include working with project partners, delivery of administrative functions, implementation of systems to record and monitor performance and the planning and delivery of meetings, workshops and events.
Key responsibilities of our Socio Economic Support Administrator:
- Developing appropriate systems to support the team e.g. Data collection, production of monitoring reports.
- Supporting effective communications on the work of the Socio-Economic team to internal and external partners, e.g. Updating the website, articles for newsletters.
- Assisting the team to deliver events, activities and engagement which contribute to the development and delivery of socio-economic projects and programs.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relations with partners across socio-economic activity and the network of community organisations in Thamesmead.
- Commitment to innovation including an interest in learning about socio economic and housing regeneration and embracing new approaches to delivery.
- Prioritise, plan and co-ordinate a designated workload to ensure completion to time and specified quality standard.
Knowledge/skills required by the Socio Economic Support Administrator:

- Demonstrable experience in a similar type role.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborative working.
- experience of working under pressure towards tight deadlines delivering challenging outputs and outcomes.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders and good communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent administration, organisations and project skills.
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality including the Data Protection Act.
- Knowledge of using pc’s; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, internet, social media.
