Society Administrator Required

Are you an experienced Administrator?
Are you looking for a new role that is both challenging and rewarding?
An opportunity has arisen within the Club Facilities Department for a Society Administrator to administrate and organise events for the Club's Bridge, Chess, Backgammon and Golf Societies as well as Tennis and Squash.
Duties include booking of venues for Golf Days and Golf, Bridge, Chess and Backgammon Matches, liaison with the M.C.C. Home venue for golf, The Berkshire Golf Club, organisation of annual lunches, dinners and other events, production of newsletters and other mailings and acting as secretary to the societies' sub-committee meetings by preparing agendas and papers and taking minutes.
You should be well presented, with a professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. A high level of initiative with excellent organisational and administrative skills are required. Previous experience of preparing agendas and taking minutes is highly desirable.
A flexible approach to working hours is also essential, particularly during the cricket season as you will be required to work extended hours on match days, including weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of the game of cricket is a distinct advantage.
