Social Media Manager

Location: Head Office (Camden)
Camden Dining are looking to appoint an online Social media and content manager to work within our broad range of restaurants and bars.
This role will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing and venue General Managers to create engaging content on all social channels.
Role and responsibilities include:
• First point of contact for all venues regarding social media content and execution
• Oversee all C.D. Social media profiles including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google + and You Tube
• Production of creative, insightful and engaging content to promote campaigns, activities and news/press
• Developing an innovative content strategy and executing this in a creative way that communicates the brand in a positive, authentic and industry leading manner
• Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original and high-quality content
• Forward thinking content production that leverages brand USPs and attracts existing and target guests demographics
• Develop relevant content topics to reach and convert target guest segments
• Create, curate and manage all published content (images, video and written)
• Lead and influence the on-site teams to create interesting and engaging content and identify and improve aspects that will increase content production by on-site teams
• Liaison with in-house photographer for fresh and timely content in response to both venue activity and social trends
• Schedule posts as appropriate to ensure content KPI is met and exceeded and sites are supported in posting
• Devise and maintain social calendar to ensure content timely and relevant to ‘what’s on’ across all venues
• Research into other appropriate social channels to ensure an industry leading social strategy
• Research into trends and competitors’ content and strategy, as well as in the wider aspects of digital/social
• Respond to guest posts and feedback in a timely, appropriate and on brand manner across all social media platforms
• Regular engagement with guests and influencers
• Assist and engage in all aspects of paid social media management, from campaign creation to execution and reporting
• Measure increase in activity and engagement across all platforms- KPI target 30% growth in followers across all channels
• Monitoring and producing reports on social media activity across C.D.
• Supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing on the coordination of material for the website and social media channels and providing necessary support for key campaigns and initiatives
• Liaising with our PR agencies when required
• Working with the PR teams to ensure key press coverage pieces are announced and promoted on the appropriate channels
• Other duties and projects to assist the sales and marketing team
• Working with partners to ensure website development updates in place to facilitate new projects
Skills and Experiences required:
• 2 years similar experience in a similar hospitality role
• Strong writing skills, good grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Excellent working knowledge of social media
• Good awareness of all things digital
• Time-management and ability to prioritise
• experience with platforms including Hootsuite, Google Analytics, PhotoShop, Quicktime and Stackla
• Photography/Videography experience is beneficial but not necessary
• Good awareness of the hospitality industry and trends
• Highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for engaging with current and future guests
• Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in various social media platforms
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and associated content requirements
• Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e.: content development and the creation and edition of content.)
