Enlighten The Children is a registered Charity. We are helping poor children and their families from the most deprived part of the UK through various breakfast clubs by providing healthy breakfast meals and nutritious food hampers according to UK food guideline.
Due to demand and our continued growth, we are looking for focused and motivated individuals to join us at this very exciting time. We are seeking a creative social media intern to join us. This is great opportunity to gain some amazing experience, working at our head office in London.
The role will include:
• Create engaging social media and other online content.
• Contribute new ideas to continuously improve our digital marketing.
• Organising and taking part in recruitment and other work fair events.
• Engagement with our existing database via a range of direct marketing channels.
• Creating compelling adverts that will resonate with our target audience.
• Ensuring all social media content is posted in accordance to schedule (with the use of suitable social media applications).
• To be Professional and Confidential at all times and to be responsible for any tasks provided.
To be successful you will need:
• A good understanding of digital marketing.
• Knowledge on how to use software such as PhotoShop.
• An interest in working for charity for good cause.
• Strong technical understanding of the major social media platforms and their best practice, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and Youtube.
• Able to work effectively and on own initiative
• Motivated and ambitious individual
• Able to prioritise tasks, problem solve and manage own workload
• Demonstrates professionalism and a calm demeanour, even in challenging situations
• Demonstrate a friendly, positive and ‘can do’ attitude
• Able to work collaboratively with other
• Have a creative mind to think outside the box
• Be Social Media Savvy
• Flexible working environment and working hours and attend events
• Be able to communicate effectively and clearly via written content and verbally
Job Type: Internship
Duration: 3 months to 6 months, 4-5 days per week.
Position beginning: as soon as possible
Unpaid Internship - Travel Expenses and Lunch reimbursed only
Required education:
• Diploma or A Level
• Media relations or Digital Media interest
