Role Title: Social Media and Marketing Intern
About us:
The Cheerleading Company is a fun organisation based in South West London. As well as managing Pineapple Cheerleaders pro squad, the company has a nationwide team of dance instructors who deliver fun dance sessions for hen parties. In addition to cheerleading, we offer a wide range of themes in over 24 different dance styles from Dirty Dancing to Glee and even the Beyonce ‘Single Ladies’ routine!
Role Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in social media and arts management in a fun dance company. We're looking for an intern to help out with The Cheerleading Company’s Social Media marketing administration in particular studio bookings. The role would primarily include: assisting in the Social Media marketing for The Cheerleading Company’s dance hen parties and helping our hen party admin team with studio bookings. Please note this is an unpaid internship however the intern will receive marketing training to contribute to their development of online marketing skills.
There are also opportunities to progress to a paid position for the right candidate. We have a paid role available from as early as October within the hen party admin team and would hope the candidate would be suited to progress to this role.
Key responsibilities:
• Researching content for Social Media marketing campaigns
• Implementing the social media marketing plan
• Providing administrative support for the team
• Assisting in booking studios
Requirements:
• Confident with MS Office
• Confident with Social Media platforms
• A keen interest in Branding, marketing and PR
• A keen interest in writing
• Well organised and efficient
• Attention to detail
• Logical thinker
• An interest in Dance is not a requirement but a big bonus!
Dates:
Start date flexible but within the next 6 weeks. The role would be for 3 months. Opportunity to then progress to a paid position within the admin team possibly starting as soon as after 2 months.
Hours: 15 hours a week spread over 5 days a week between 10am-5pm.
Location: Tooting, London
Rate of pay: unpaid position
