We need some help to create a functional growing space at our allotment in North West London where Young people in the community will have the opportunity to learn the benefits of growing food , learn new skills and experience the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
Throughout 2021 we have been working hard to make the site a safe and suitable space for the young people who will attend in 2022.
Now that Winter is upon us we are now in need of volunteers to help clear the land, turn the soil, clear weeds and prepare the project for Spring.
We are looking for 8 volunteers to take part on the 4th November 2021 between 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Who are Punch and Juicy Liquid Foods
Punch and Juicy is a social enterprise selling and promoting healthy liquid food:
We prepare and sells healthy drinks and soups from temporary locations including markets and events
We aim to grows fresh fruit and vegetables in our community allotment to use in the preparation of our juices and soups
We teach young people how to grow , create and sell their own products.
The support of volunteers is vital to this work, helping to enhance spaces and create opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.
