We are an independently-owned pub in Ealing and are looking for an outstanding new Deputy General Manager. Since opening in 2011, we have become very well known for our outstanding levels of service, our excellent range of drinks and our friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We are wet led but also serveĀ fantastic American BBQ food. We are looking for someone dedicated, professional and reliable who, after training, will be confident to manage all aspects of the running of the pub in the general manager's absence. We are a small but growing company and the right candidate will be able to progress quickly through the ranks if they so desire. Applicants must have theĀ legal right to work in the UK and be able to provide work and residential references to be considered for the live-in role.
A great attitude can be more important than a vast amount of experience, but the ideal candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of one years experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role in a pub or restaurant.
- A personal alcohol licence and a Food Hygiene Level 2 award.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- The ability to train and motivate staff.
- A good knowledge of beer, food and cocktails.
