A proactive, smart, energetic and firm sole charge after school nanny/tutor is required immediately i.e. Before 30 September 2021 for a 9 year old Kensington prep school boy.
This position is ideal for a graduate gap year student or undergraduate with a flexible schedule. Interests in reading, chess, cycling, swimming, science, classics, a musical instrument or martial arts are highly desirable.
We require a minimum commitment of 12 months through to August 2022 with the option to extend the contract by mutual agreement.
HOURS and RESPONSIBILITIES
* School term: Monday to Friday from 4:30pm to 7:00pm (12.5 hours) to supervise homework and teach extension lessons in English, mathematics and reasoning and to prepare afternoon tea. No domestic work/cleaning is required as we have a housekeeper.
* School Holidays: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:30pm (50 hours) will include games, sports, cinema, art galleries, museums and theatre in London.
ABOUT YOU
* You have initiative, are well organised, confident in managing times lessons, have excellent English (including grammar) and numeracy and have experience tutoring for the 11 + exams.
* You have excellent excellent values, are a good communicator and team player
* Non-smoker
ATTRACTIVE SALARY
* £15/hour to £20/hour depending on experience
* Zone 2 Oyster card for personal use, paid sick leave and annual leave.
