Skilled Experienced Bread Baker for Growing East End Bakery

We're growing and looking for a talented baker to join our team.

Breid – Organic, wild Yeast bread bakers in the heart of the East End serving local cafes, shops and restaurants.

Senior Baker (20-25 hours a week) - A skilled and experienced bread lover who is focused and dedicated. We're looking for someone who can work alongside and cover our head baker, help improve the quality and consistency of our bread, guide less experienced members of the team and help develop new products as we grow. We're looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week with a little flexibility so may suit someone with other responsibilities.

This is what you need to have:

-Professional experience baking a range of breads in a busy bakery environment, especially wild Yeast/sourdough.

- Extensive knowledge of all bread making processes; ingredients, mother culture, preferment, mixing, fermentation, shaping, proving, baking.

-An eye for detail and consistency.

Any of these would be a bonus:

- Viennoisierie/Pastry/Cake baking experience.

-Drivers licence
