Applicants must have previous experience of working with primary school-aged children, hold a clean driving licence (and be a confident driver), hold suitable background checks and references and have excellent language skills in order to support KS1/2 English and maths homework. As the younger child will be sitting entrance exams next year we are ideally looking for someone with teaching experience or previous experience in early years education.
Hours of work will be approximately 7.30/7.45am to 6.30/6.45pm. A typical day involves school runs (driving from Highbury to Highgate) morning and afternoon, taking children to after-school activities, cooking them a simple evening meal and supervising homework. Simple household chores are to be carried out when children are at school.
Standard market rates (approximately. £10ph), standard contract, tax and NI paid. Babysitting availability is not essential but can be arranged ad hoc. No agencies please.
