Site Maintenance Officer Job

Have you provided site maintenance before and are you good at what you do? We at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College are looking for a hands on Maintenance Officer to join our estates department in delivering an exceptional estates and facilities service across our college campuses.
The Role
As a site maintenance officer, you will undertake general maintenance duties, classroom setups and receiving deliveries of equipment/materials. In addition, you will carry out regular periodic checks on all college accommodation and grounds, including toilets and other communal areas, ensuring that all facilities are in a sound and safe operating condition in line with college standards. Driving duties across our college campuses will also be required.
The Person
The successful candidates will have experience of working in a similar role. The Site Maintenance Officers will work alongside a wide range of people, at all levels, and will therefore possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
You will have:
• Handy person skills which can be adapted and developed
• experience of working in a team and within an estates/facilities department
• Awareness of Building, Fire Safety, Disability, Asbestos and H and S legislation
• A Full UK driving licence (essential)
• experience of working to deadlines, managing and prioritising time effectively to ensure an excellent service is delivered
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and incidents

Hours: 37 per week
Tenure: Permanent
Salary: £20,706 – 23,963 per annum, including London pay weighting.
