Award-winning security company Securi Group is now recruiting SIA Licensed staff to join our events team to work at the Southbank Centre on New Years Eve.
These roles are perfect for individuals looking to earn some cash whilst playing a part in this New Years most talked about event. There are also numerous opportunities for candidates hoping to work with us continuously throughout the year.
Working hours: 31st December - 15.00-03.00
Rate of pay: £19.50 per hour
Key Tasks:
-Communicate with the public in a courteous manner at all times.
-Ensure everyone attending our venues receive a friendly welcome.
-Provide customer information on show times and facilities.
-Carry out safety inspections and security checks as directed.
-Provide directions to the public and performers when necessary.
-Protect property and equipment relating to our events.
-Ensure access to restricted areas is granted to authorised personnel only.
-Control unruly behaviour and investigate any disturbances or incidents.
-Undertake any specific duties as directed by the event organisers.
Ideal candidates will be friendly and professional with excellent communication skills and an aptitude to working with the general public. All applicants must have an SIA Licence, a 5 year checkable work history, be over 18 years old and legally able to work in the UK.
