Wanted: Short-term, temporary live-in help with children / au pair
(4 weeks starting approximately. 8th September)
We are a friendly family of four (soon to be five…) living in SW14.
I’m currently expecting my 3rd child (due at the beginning of October) and am looking for someone on a short-term, temporary basis who can live with us and help out a bit for the last few weeks of my pregnancy, and be around to look after our 2 boys (aged 3 and nearly.
5) When number 3 decides to make an appearance!
Dates can be (slightly) flexible, but we’d ideally be looking for someone from about 8th September – 8th October 2022.
Duties wouldn’t be particularly onerous, but would include:
• Helping to get the boys ready for nursery / school in the mornings and occasionally dropping them off
• Occasional pick-ups
• Helping out with the boys’ tea-time / bathtime / bedtime
• A bit of very light housework (mostly limited to tidying up jigsaws etc)
• Being around overnight so that if we suddenly need to dash to the hospital, you can be there to look after the boys.
You will have your own, large bedroom, and share a bathroom with the boys.
It’s important to us that you have your own space, but you will be welcome to be part of our family too.
We are well connected for transport links – our nearest overground station is Mortlake (a 10 minute walk). Richmond is just over 5 minutes away by bus, and Richmond Park is on our doorstep (5 minutes walk).
