This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cal Aid Team - managing the distribution shop for our refugee populations around Ioannina, Greece.
Hours: Monday to Saturday 9-6
Pay: Accommodation plus €10 per Diem stipend
Location: Ioannina, Epirus, Northern Greece
Training will be given on arrival

You will be working with our systems between the shop and the processing plant to manage stock; greeting and checking out our customers; and ensuring the Cal Aid Shop remains a cheerful and dignified experience for all.
The right person will have experience in:
Customer service
Cross cultural communication skills
Working under pressure
Organisational thinking
Excel and data
Some knowledge of different languages (Arabic, Farsi, French, Greek - would be helpful but not essential)
And you will be:
Level headed
At ease with minor conflict management
Flexible and Adaptable
You will not be going to any refugee camps or sites.
This is a lifestyle placement. You will have a lot of fun and be immersed in all aspects of our work in the processing plant and shop from Monday to Saturday 9-6, with occasional late evenings or early mornings in response to planned and unplanned events.
On Sundays we organise team trips to the mountains, the island or you can have the day to yourself in beautiful Ioannina.
You will be responsible for your travel to us.
We will provide you accommodation and €10 per Diem stipend.
This a 6 week minimum placement starting November.
