We are looking for a friendly and dedicated person to be a shift supervisor and help lead our small young team in Highgate.
You will report directly to the manager and the owners. This is a traditional English pub that with a wood burning stove, top quiz and friendly locals combine to create an atmosphere full of old world charm.
Successful candidates will have a great personality, demonstrate exceptional standards and show a passion for the hospitality industry.
You will need to have a flexible approach as you will be working a mix evenings, weekdays and weekends.
You will be working approximately 35- 40 hours per week
You will be responsible for cashing up, stock control, banking, customer and staff liaison, health and safety, quality control, cellar management amongst other things.
You will need to motivate your team, keep an eye on food standards and know your way around a cellar.
You will need excellent written and spoken English, great communication skills, some experience of bar work or other customer focused retail experience.

To show an ability to get on with but also supervise your staff properly
In addition you will also need an ni number and relevant work visa’s/passport.
