Café Below is looking for a Senior Waiter/Waitress. We open for breakfast and lunch, Monday to Friday with the occasional evening event - about one every two weeks.
You will be full time, working a breakfast and lunch shift or a lunch and dinner shift. We are trying to improve customer service all the time and need someone who is dedicated to giving diners a brilliant experience.
The core roles for this position are:
Delivering first class customer service.
Managing other front of house staff and ensuring they meet expectations regarding presentation and service delivery.
Managing the front of house cleaning schedule and taking a full role in cleaning
Taking charge of front of house for evening events.
Working on table and on the door lunch time.
You should be able to make coffee, but training can be given.
We need someone who has these qualities:
Well organised with an attention for detail
A real passion for food and service
The ability to make customers happy, even when things go wrong
Excellent spoken English
Be well presented and the ability to smile!
You will work closely with the Front of House manager and the owner/chef and will be expected to take responsibility and lead by example.
You will be paid by the hour at £9 an hour for around 35-45. You get 28 days holiday a year, we close over Christmas and New Year and full time staff have a paid meal break with free food.
