Senior Therapist - The Ned, New Opening Reporting to: Head Therapist Role Based: The Ned, Poultry, London Hotel Overview Located on Poultry Street, this new hotel is one of the most exciting upcoming openings by Soho House and Co. The new project is a joint venture with Sydell group, a US hotel developer. We’re developing a Grade I listed building in the heart of the City to become a destination hotel with over 250 bedrooms. The hotel will have a gym, Cowshed spa as well as 9 restaurants, bars and extensive event spaces. There will also be member’s facilities, where members can enjoy the rooftop pool or in the member’s club.The Role To provide treatments confidently and professionally to the highest standards to all guests at the Ned Spa. To train and mentor new starters by keeping abreast of the new treatments and procedures. To ensure that all areas of the spa are immaculate by supporting and supervising open and close down procedures. Main responsibilities• Constantly maintain high levels of presentation and ensure rooms are kept in a clean, hygienic, safe and well-maintained condition.• Monitor the guests Spa experience, improving the service and sequence of service that occurs from the time the guest arrives to when they leave.• Welcome all spa guests and explain their programme and the layout of the Spa where necessary• Assist in ensuring all retail displays are replenished, well presented, clean and changed frequently in accordance to a pre-planned promotions schedule.• Upsell treatments and products working towards set targets and KPI’s set by the Spa General Manager.• Be familiar with all treatments offered in the Spa even if not personally involved in delivering the treatment. • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are maintained within the treatment area and all necessary reporting practices are followed in the event of accident, equipment maintenance or failure.• Ensure all efficient use of all laundry requirements• Develop and maintain knowledge of all skills and treatments in order to fulfil role.• At all times to represent the Spa in a professional and knowledgeable manner and at all times strive to achieve the highest standard of customer care• Develop good relationships with all members and hotel guests within the Spa and also with colleagues throughout the Hotel and Spa operations. Essential Skills• Beauty Therapy experience in a hotel or busy day spa• Proven Track record in therapy training• Motivate and maintain positive staff moral• Perform job functions with minimal supervision• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team• Attention to detail on all aspects of Spa• Maintain Hygiene Standards, Health and Safety• NVQ 1,2, 3 Beauty / CIBTACDesirable Skills• Trained in Cowshed, Cheeky or Neville’s Brands• Electrical Therapy experience• Opening ExperienceWe offer• One of the most competitive salaries in the industry.• 28 paid holidays per annum inclusive of bank holidays• Complimentary meals on duty• Annual staff events• Discounted rates at The Ned• Fantastic career growth opportunities.
