THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
A born leader who relishes taking responsibility for the running of the kitchen in the absence of the head chef. A fantastic cook with an infectious passion for food, a respect for systems and procedures and a desire to learn and develop their skill set. Aspiring to be a great head of department, they focus on consistently excellent cooking and maintaining the day-to-day systems and routines of a busy kitchen. Ambitious and passionate they have an unstoppable, genuine inspiration for creating and delivering new dishes, whilst continuously supporting the head chef in the quest to become the best neighbourhood hub in the area.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND experience
Proven experience as a chef in high quality fresh food kitchens
Good communication skills
Great cooking skills
Creative with – and passionate about – seasonal British ingredients
A sound understanding of all aspects of running a busy kitchen
THE DETAILS
This is a full time, permanent appointment,
Salary around 26,000 - 30,000 negotiable
48 HOUR WEEKS
3 DAYS OFF PER WEEK
OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME HEAD CHEF WITHIN 6 months
Temporary Live In available
