Senior Sous Chef – Unique Pan Asian Restaurant - £35,000
Our client is a distinctive Pan Asian restaurant which is offering up to £35,000 for a Senior Sous chef to join their kitchen of highly experienced Chefs. The oriental fusion menu that this restaurant has developed has influences of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean and other cuisines. This restaurant is part of a highly regarded small group of Pan Asian restaurants which are known for the quality and creativity of the dishes that they offer. A Pan Asian background is not essential, but would benefit a potential candidate.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to take the next step on the road to their first Head Chef position in a group known for its commitment to in house training and promotion.
The ideal candidate will have:
·A passion for cooking with the finest fresh ingredients.
·A professional and hard-working attitude.
·The ability to manage a kitchen as well as training and developing other members of the team.
·Being able to run a pass confidently and efficiently in a restaurant which can range from 100-200 covers.
·The ability to build a menu and be confident in presenting ideas to the Head Chef.
·The ability to work with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
·Confident in maintaining stock control and waste management.
·Good level of spoken English.
