CCA International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Recruiter to join the team based in London. You will be on a full time permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus target based commission.
Senior Recruiter – Job Role
This role is required to attract candidates from varied talent pools, using a variety of different channels and recruitment methods. Ensuring every candidate has an excellent candidate journey experience, and regard CCA as an Employer of Choice.
This role is to work as part of the team to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to candidates, employees, managers, clients, and external suppliers at all times. With excellent administration, interpersonal and communication skills, you will be supporting staff at all levels and assist where appropriate in answering any queries you may be asked for help with.
Responsibilities as our Senior Recruiter
- Taking the lead on all direct Recruitment, identifying effective channels and methods, ensuring a pro-active approach to increasing directly sourced talent;
- Acting as the face of CCA International London at all Recruitment events, such as Recruitment shows;
- Line management of the Recruitment Team (Administrators/Assistants), and escalating any issues to the Human Resources Manager;
- Overseeing the fulfilment all recruitment requests, including the creation and updating of job descriptions and adverts, placement of adverts on job boards or liaising with necessary advertising partners, pre-screening and telephone interviewing of candidates, arranging interviews, supporting interviews/assessment centres, making offers of employment and providing feedback, issuing offer letters and contracts of employment, creating Human Resources files and electronic Human Resources record;
- Overseeing completion of Pre-Employment checks of all candidates including criminality and financial probity checks where necessary, and obtaining all previous employment references within specified SLAs;
- Overseeing the checking and signing of right to work documentation for all new recruits;
- Providing recruitment support to line managers, trainers, Human Resources colleagues as required;
- Providing feedback to managers where necessary including evaluation of each recruitment process;
- Overseeing the Recruitment administration; paperwork preparation, filing and archiving, including communication with agencies, including obtaining references;
- Ensuring all recruitment KPIs and SLAs are met;
- Assisting with department/company audits;
- Compiling information for site and group level Recruitment reporting, for the Human Resources Manager;
- Improving processes and policies to ensure efficiencies within the recruitment process;
Essential Skills needed to become our Senior Recruiter
- Significant previous experience in a similar role at this level;
- Excellent communication and motivational skills, ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexible approach to working hours and location
- Be able to pass criminality and financial probity checks and have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
- Respect the importance of confidentiality, as you will be dealing with employees' personal details
- Flexibility is required (working hours) due to volume of work and requirement to conduct evening and weekend interviews/inductions
- Planning and Organisation, and time management skills
- Adaptability and ability to take a company-wide perspective
