Accountancy practice based in South West London (SW13) are looking for a Senior or Semi-Senior Accountant to join their practice. The work will involve:

Preparing clients’ VAT Returns.
All aspects of clients’ payroll including running monthly payrolls, dealing with joiners, leavers, pay rises, bonuses, end of year submissions, auto enrolment and completion of form P11D’s.
Preparation of sole trader accounts, partnership accounts and rental accounts.
Preparation of Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships, calculation of income tax and capital gains tax liabilities, filing of Tax Returns with HM Revenue and Customs.
Preparation of company accounts, corporation tax computation and form CT600, iXBRL tagging of company accounts.
Review and supervision of junior staff.
Company secretarial duties including arranging for new incorporations, preparation of and filing annual Confirmation Statements, dealing with issues in respect of changes in directors and/or shareholders.
Preparation of Accountant References for lenders and landlords.
Checking HM Revenue and Customs’ Statements of Account, tax calculations and Paye Coding Notices.
Ad hoc liaisons with clients and HM Revenue and Customs.
Office admin.

The firm will look at any candidates who are fully ACCA qualified or part qualified with at least 3 years practice experience, so well advanced through the ACCA already.

You must fit the following criteria:

1) Good knowledge of at least SAGE and IRIS/PTP personal tax software.
2) You must be coming straight from a practice role without any moves into industry;
3) You must be able to get to London SW13 with a realistic commute;
4) Your CV must identify you in full (with postal address) and also give full details of the accountancy practices you have worked for - name, location and time spent (full or part time). It must also include full information on your ACCA qualification.
5) You must have at least 3 years practice experience;
6) This is a full time, permanent role. No part time roles available.

Salary range: £25-45k.
