As our Senior Marketing Executive you will provide Marketing support to the Exclusive Associates (EAs) sales channel. This role manages the exclusive distribution relationships, of which there are currently 23 with plans for expansion. This will consist of providing dedicated marketing support, dealing with any marketing related queries and event marketing support. This person must be a strong communicator, well organised, able to manage senior stakeholders and build solid relationships with EAs.
Responsibilities as our Senior Marketing Executive
- Support the Marketing Manager and the wider Marketing team by building and maintaining close working relationships with the various Vitality Life Sales channels to drive sales of our products.
- Support the Marketing Manager in creating and executing the EA marketing plan.
- Creating bespoke campaigns for Exclusive Associates.
- Being able to think of out of the box and devise a plan to support this relatively new channel.
- Reviewing marketing content from the exclusive associates which makes any reference to Vitality and make sure it adheres to our brand/digital guidelines.
- Daily monitoring and management of the exclusive marketing inbox and responding to requests in a timely manner.
- Support the Marketing Manager in creation of content for the sales channels where needed (including networks).
- Ownership of the marketing around several insurance products.
- Work with the wider Vitality Life Marketing team to deliver ad-hoc marketing opportunities committed to maximize our brand exposure
- Responsible for developing a range of online and offline marketing
- Growth and support for existing EAs.
- Working with other Marketing Executives in the team to manage stock and reprints for printed collateral.
- Work closely with the internal copywriter and design team to design the marketing collateral (online and offline) and assist in writing copy for advertorials, newsletter articles, emails etc. And ensure that the marketing material is executed on time and within budget.
- Support the development of the marketing strategy for the EA proposition (for new acquisition/pipeline)
- Create all Financial Promotions with adherence to both FCA guidelines, and Vitality Life’s tone of
- Attend some Joint Management Committee meetings (JMCs)
- Support Exclusive Associate networking events.
- Responsible for the review of all Financial Promotions and observance of use-by dates such that they are extended, re-signed off, or made obsolete as appropriate.
- Act as a stakeholder in the reviewing of communications produced from other departments.
To become our Senior Marketing Executive, you will have the below skills and experience:
- University level education – ideally in Marketing or an equivalent qualification such as CIM/IDM
- approximately. 1-2 years marketing experience
- Ideally have experience of working in a marketing capacity in a B2B environment
- 2 years or more experience of working within the Financial Services Industry
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems.
- Excellent team worker and ability to work using own initiative
