Senior Landscaping Manager Wanted

Place: The job will be mainly on our London sites, but you maybe required to work in Essex on occassion

Are you an experienced Landscaper?
Earth Designs are looking for a Senior Site Manager to deliver our garden design projects. Our work is in South East Essex and in to East London. You may be expected to work across both sites but primarily in London.
You will be skilled in all aspects of landscaping, include setting out from plans, groundwork, paving, wall construction, carpentry, horticultural works and all other on site tasks associated with the creation of modern gardens. Working as the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the team on site to deliver bespoke garden builds on time and on budget. You will also be expected to give daily feedback to clients and senior managers. You will need to liaise with suppliers and schedule deliveries.
Duties
• Full skill set as required by any Landscaper:
• Concreting and screeding
• Woodwork
• Decking
• Screens and fencing
• Stone laying
• Painting and cladding
• Material care and maintenance
• Tool care
• ‘Site Maths’ and accurate measurement and set up.
• Ensuring all site is clean and tidy
• Ensuring all tools are clean and properly maintained.
• Soft Landscaping
• All routes and storage for the movement of materials are organised.
•Liaising with suppliers for materials
Person specification · Driver ·  Punctual · Excellent communication skills · Good understanding of H and S.
Must haves: -
Previous landscaping experience, which can be either hard landscaping (paving, decking, patio laying, fencing), soft landscaping (turfing, planting) or landscape maintenance (mowing, weed spraying, pruning).
- Be self-motivated, positive and passionate about your work at all times.
- Be a team player, ready to help colleagues at all times to promote a positive working environment.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high accuracy levels.
- Flexible with regards working hours, particularly during peak periods.
- Interest in continuous personal development.
- Full driving licence and own transport to and from work. You will need to have a valid UTR.
Salary will be dependent on experience, with the current bands being £16 - £18 ph for a Landscape Site Manager.
