Senior Housekeeper wanted to join a team within a private household in central London.  The successful candidate will have experience in a similar household where they have managed and trained other members of staff.  The  team are well established and experienced; you will be responsible for managing and give ongoing training where needed making certain that all tasks are accomplished in an efficient manner and executed to high standards. The family are not in residence often and then there are three other housekeepers besides yourself, when they family are in residence there can be quite a large number of people from family members, guests and other staff so you must be someone that is used to this and can remain calm, organised and in control.

Your background in private households will have given you a well-trained eye where you will ensure that that everywhere within the home has that ‘finishing touch’ such as arrangements of flowers in place.

Whilst the family are not in residence all year round, it is important that the property is to be ready always for their imminent arrival.  This is done by briefing the housekeepers each day on the schedule ahead, preparing the home and keeping standards very high.  You would take charge of all housekeeping and laundry of the main property and any adjacent properties.

Essential:
Superior knowledge on all housekeeping
Knowledge and hands on experience in laundry and linen.
Order and keep an inventory of products for the properties.
Be able to do take care of personal items of the principal and have everything in place for their visits.
Willing to commit long term

Hours of work.
Five days per week Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Salary £34,000 per annum plus benefit
