The role:
Orange Brands Management introduces Duck and Waffle. Located on the top floor of Heron Tower on Bishopsgate, the restaurant is scheduled to debut in the summer of 2012 and is looking for a Host to join the team.
Duck and Waffle encourages a “shared” experience for guests featuring eclectic small plates, artisanal cocktails and one of the largest rum selections in the City of London. The restaurant’s emphasis on seasonal, local ingredients and sustainability will be manifested in daily inspirations created from the market’s freshest offerings. At Duck and Waffle guests can come to expect great quality food, beverage and a vibrant atmosphere.
The Host is responsible for ensuring the prompt recognition and seating of all guests, and assists the servers in providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience.
the requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior industry related restaurant experience required
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations; written and verbal English language communication skills
• Must have a professional and well-groomed appearance, as he/she is the first impression of the restaurant
• Ability to multi-task and follow directions
• Must be prompt, courteous, and reliable
• Flexibility in scheduling strongly preferred
• Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, without restrictions. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates.
