Senior Financial Lines Claims Adjuster

£52000 per annum + bonus
A global commercial insurer is looking to add to their senior technical adjusting team. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex financial lines claims within a designated authority, whilst also providing technical leadership for more junior adjusters.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of complex D and O, FI and PI claims (worldwide), through to settlement
* Working with market technology as required, adjust and authorise claim settlements and fees within a designated individual authority limit, escalating claims referrals as required.
* Liaise and negotiate with clients, brokers, loss adjusters and lawyers in the adjustment and settlement of claims, including UK and overseas travel, where necessary.
* Work closely with and audit external service providers.
* Deal with telephone or correspondence queries for brokers and clients or make appropriate referrals.
* Operate and utilise the in-house IT system and that of external service providers for data input, reporting, data interrogation and report generation as required
experience / Skills Required:
* 5 + years experience within a similar financial lines roles
* Strong exposure to D and O, FI and PI claims
* Exposure to Fidelity / Bankers Bond claims beneficial
* experience managing key Underwriter / Broker relationships
* Strong commercial awareness of the London insurance market
* Degree educated, preferable
* ACII or working towards
