Senior Event Producer with excellent management, organisational, market research and competitor analysis skills is required to head up a Production Team of two for a well-established and successful Company based in London.
SALARY: up to £35,000 per annum

You will also have experience securing key guest speakers for a range of conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies etc.
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a production focused Senior Event Producer that has excellent management, organisational, market research and competitor analysis skills.
Working as the Senior Event Producer you will head up the Production Team of two and manage a range of projects across the portfolio.
The Company delivers high level events, with the portfolio including conferences, forums, awards, bespoke roundtables, special projects all aligned with established industry publications and supported by in-depth research. The areas covered include financial services, energy, design, construction and luxury brands.
As the Senior Event Producer you will carry out in-depth market research to identify new opportunities for the Company and the development and ongoing growth of existing offerings.
As part of your duties and responsibilities you will carry out competitor research, content development, speaker acquisition, commercial opportunity development, which will also involve working to client briefs, and onsite speaker management.

DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Senior Event Producer:
• Conduct market research and identify opportunities for new events and ways to grow existing offerings
• Produce event briefs to be presented to Senior Management that provide analysis and in depth research into the market and help drive new revenue streams
• Conduct industry research and work with Editorial Teams to create a draft agenda that the Sales Team can use to approach sponsors, and you can use to build on the content and approach high level industry speakers
• Work with commercial clients to develop an agenda that covers their KPIs and attracts their target companies
• On-going monitoring of competitor events (existing and launching) to see latest speakers and hottest topics being discussed
• Creation of commercially driven presentations and allocation of potential sponsors against sessions for the Sales Team to take to market
• Secure industry speakers for the agenda and confirm all speakers in line with event cycle timelines
• Manage onsite speakers, presentations and streamed sessions liaising any change in timings to the Operations Team
• Oversee and head up the Production Team (currently two producers), reporting directly to the Global Head of Events
• Establish production timelines for all events and agree with Commercial Team and Supporting Team in acquiring speakers or content development
• Manage event allocation for Production Team across entire event portfolio and make recommendations to Senior Management in terms of resourcing requirements
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Graduate with a humanities degree (i.e. English, History, Politics) 2:1 and above or equivalent
• Commercially minded, ideally with previous experience in commercial events
• Full understanding of production cycles and creating programs to a deadline
• Ability to assimilate complex information quickly, thrive under pressure, and work on several focus areas at the same time
• experience of launching new events – in new sectors of new geo-territories
• Entrepreneurial and ready to take responsibility early on, proven research and interpersonal skills – comfortable speaking to CEOs
