The Company
A small Design and Build Construction company specialising in bespoke central London residential projects is looking for an experienced Estimator/QS to price Groundwork, Basements, Superstructure and Fitting-Out jobs for them.
The Role
1. A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced freelance Estimator to work for a growing specialist Design and Build contractor.
2. You would be responsible for taking quantities from drawings and producing a Bill of Quantities.
3. The office is in C London and there is scope for you to do a large amount of the work from home.
4. This is a freelance job that will probably only require you for a number of days per month.
The Candidate
Key attributes of the role include:
1. Must have significant experience on Basement packages
2. Organised, with good IT skills and capable of quick response
3. A range of construction experience to look for alternative technical design solutions
4. Ideally professionally qualified
5. Interpret information and instructions correctly and carry out tasks accordingly
6. Recent UK experience as a Senior Estimator in groundwork/basements
