Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Support Officer - Responsive Repairs to join our team in London. You will join us on a full time, fixed term basis of 12 months and you will receive a salary of £53,000 to £56,500 per annum.
The Senior Contracts Manager role:
To deliver a top quartile responsive repairs service, by taking responsibility for the contract and team management of responsive repairs contracts, ensuring delivery of an effective service to Peabody Group residents.
Responsibilities of our Senior Contracts Manager:
- Effectively and proactively lead, manage and motivate the team ensuring that there is a culture of high performance, strong engagement and a commitment to continual improvement.
- Recruit, manage and appraise employees thereby ensuring the provision of an effective, efficient and well-motivated team.
- Establish and implement effective working arrangements and practices to ensure a consistent level of service delivery in line with the Peabody business plan.
- Monitor and review the internal and external environment to ensure compliance and best practice are adhered to.
- Prepare, monitor and deliver individual and team targets/budgets in line with the Peabody business plan.
- Ensure the provision of excellent customer service and experience to all stakeholders in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Externally represent and promote Peabody effectively by creating a consistent, professional and positive image.
- Lead and promote a positive health and safety culture in accordance with Peabody policies and procedures.
What we’re looking for in our Senior Contracts Manager:
- Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets.
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
- Clear leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams and individuals.
- Knowledge and experience of delivering a responsive repairs service.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a particular strength for negotiating and consultation.
- Technical expertise sufficient to understand complex issues in construction, repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to effectively manage a multi-functional maintenance contract and work with clients and customers to deliver service improvements.
- Degree or relevant qualification and or extensive senior management experience or equivalent in repairs and maintenance.
