We are a City based advisory form and are looking for a senior UK Chartered accountant in practice with at least 10 years practice experience for occasional assignments.
This is a freelance role and you can work from home. From time to time a meeting in our offices the City may be helpful, but is not essential.
Working hours are flexible but please do not apply if you are so busy already that you can't take on additional work. We expect quick response and turnaround time. If you are not able to generally respond to emails within an hour or two this may not be right for you.
The type of assignment can vary, but will often include accounts and tax return preparation. Right now, for example, we need consolidated group accounts for a client's UK PLC completed that need to be ready for the group audit.
Please do not apply if you have never worked on complex UK accounts involving international businesses and groups. If you have never worked with UK auditors, please don't apply.
In total we assume that we have various assignments totalling 10-20 hours per month. You will be paid by the hour. Please state your desired hourly rate.
It is required that you have the usual software packages to complete the jobs as we don't have access to these.
