This leading Lloyd's insurer is looking to expand its Finance team with a Senior Insurance Accountant. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this role will be an integral part of a lean finance function, with excellent exposure to senior management.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Supervise and oversee the US GAAP and UK GAAP bookkeeping process and control framework.
* Produce the Syndicate and Corporate vehicle regulatory reports.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Oversee production of Annual corporate vehicle statutory accounts.
* Processing Written Premiums and calculating losses and commissions.
* Assisting with ad-hoc reporting as required.

Key requirements will include:

* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/Cima or equivalent)
* Relevant experience within an insurance business essential.
* Computer literate with advanced Excel skills.
* experience using an accounting general ledger system.
