SENCO Required | Independent SEN School | Permanent Contract.
This school is seeking an experienced SENCO with a passion for providing an excellent educational environment to children and young people with SEN.
You will be a self-motivated and inspiring SENCO experienced in coordinating support staff. Ideally, you will have a proven track record of teaching SEN pupils and managing a SEN support team. You should be passionate about teaching and learning and be a team-player who can work closely with the senior management team.
Desirable
QTS or Overseas Equivalent
National SENCO Award
PGCert Special Educational Needs Coordination.
SEN School experience (Mainstream will still be considered)
The role will also involve a teaching timetable along with a range of other senior management responsibilities. An excellent understanding of Autism, ODD, OCD, depression and SEMH will put you at an advantage to secure this post. You will also be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school’s SEN policies.
