We are an ice cream manufacturing company based in Croydon (Thornton heath)
Self Employed Driver required with full, clean licence to deliver ice cream ( Bulk packs in re-usable plastic crates) to customers across UK in freezer van to the like of Ford transit, Crafter etc.( not bigger than 3.5 tonnes). The job involves loading (with assistance) including organising numbers of crates/packages as per delivery note of scheduled customers from the factory. Manually unloading the designated quantity and delivering to the customers’ site.
Requirements:
- Full, clean UK or European licence
- No more than 3 points on the licence
- Be over 25 years( for insurance purpose)
- Have a right to work in the UK
- Must be located within a commutable distance of Croydon(CR0)
- Have acceptable command over English
- Able to undertake safe journeys over long distances( means long hours on some days)
- Early starter( Deliveries can start as early as 5 AM)
- Able to lift up to 25 kgs of weight
- Flexible and willing to help doing other tasks when needed
- Able to monitor maintenance schedule of all the vehicles if needed
- Be polite and friendly
- Flexible to work on weekends
- Will need to hold a Public liability Insurance of 2 Million GBP( We can help to find the insurance broker from our panel of brokers)
