The house is located very close to Hillingdon Hospital – 5 minutes’ bus journey (bus stop directly outside the house) and opposite a school.
The package:
A bedroom with shared bathroom and use of kitchen, garden and sitting area.
25 hours per week of care work – mainly early mornings and light housekeeping when needed. Can discuss hours that will suit.
£80 pocket money
A professional reference to support future employment.
About my grandmother.
She is approaching 90 years and has always lived on her own. But now she is getting weaker and needs part-time live-in care. Her family will also be providing hands-on care.
She is able to do somethings on her own such as feeding and using the loo but needs 24/7 supervision. A very kind, sweet lady with lots of love to give and always appreciative for the help she receives.
Our family.
We are an Indian Sikh family with the majority of us born in the UK. We use English as our main language. My grandmother has 2 sons and 2 daughters, one of the daughters lives with her and works part-time. She is easy to get on with – friendly and sociable. As you can imagine, my grandmother has lots of grandchildren who like to visit her often as possible. My grandmother is a total vegetarian but the rest of the family aren’t so relaxed with meat being cooked in the house.
What we are looking for …

- Checkable references and willing to carry out an enhanced police check: we will pay for this.
