Hello Au Pairs.
My client: professional native English speaking couple with several years of experience in hiring Au Pairs. Both parents work full-time and out of the house. They are happy for the Au Pair to join them on weekend events/activities but understand if the Au Pair prefers to have time-out.
The children: independent - smart 12 years old girl who loves music - dancing and arts. She has 5 years old brother who enjoys sports. Both children attend independent schools - local with short bus ride.
Days/hours: Monday to Friday only. approximately 25 to 30 hours with time off in the day.
Duties: morning routine of getting children up, dressed for school, breakfast and walk the boy to school. During the day, carry out standard nursery duties and cook a meal. Collect the boy from school - times change and depend if he has activities. Support school homework. If time permits, entertain with play and dinner - bath/bed routine.
During holidays - organise social dates and day trips.
The ideal candidate will:
- have some experience working with children
- genuine interest in working with a family with the ability to establish and maintain loving relationships with both children.
- good level of English: confident speaker.
- fun, good sense of humour and easy to approach.
Accommodation offered: large - bright double room with own bathroom in a modern 5 bed house. Wi-fi and access to all facilities in the house.
Location: excellent bus services to central London and nigh bus service. Turnham Green is a short walk. Chiswick is a popular place to live for professional families. Offers a great choice of restaurants - coffee shops with lots of nannies - au pairs.
Pocket money: depends on profile. Ranges from £100 - £150
