We are a loving active family seeking an experienced and energetic after school nanny for our 2 children - boy 8, girl 5 years Both children are very bright, kind and active. Parents are highly educated and have careers that are very demanding, so we are really looking for a part-time third parent who will be able to manage a busy daily schedule and keep everything organised during the week - helping to create a loving, stimulating and fun environment for our children.
Start date: as soon as possible
Hours: Monday to Friday 3.30/4pm to 8/8.30pm (exact start time depends on kids after school activities/clubs)
Pay: £10-12ph (depending on experience)  - Additional hours may be requested (babysitting) which will be agreed and paid separately.
MUST Have Requirements:
- Loving, energetic, positive and creative.
- Self-starter, highly organised, hardworking, reliable and flexible – acute attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Min 3 years of SOLE CHARGE nanny experience.
- Strong references
- Childcare qualifications for 5-8 yr Olds.
- DBS clearance
- Full rights to work in the UK
- Fluent English
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Establishing and maintaining afternoon routine for both children – discuss and agree developmental goals with parent.
- Keeping everything for the children very clean and organised - meal plans and shopping lists, school activities, etc.
- Helping/checking/encouraging/motivating kids with their homework from demanding schools.
- Organising and attending play dates; liaising with school.
- Communicating each day with parents and coordinating with parents, housekeeper.
- Light housekeeping - encouraging kids to participate and clean up after themselves.
We appreciate flexibility (particularly outside term times) and to also possibly look after the kids over the weekend sole charge a couple times a year.
We are looking for a long term commitment.
