Evening Security Officer/Receptionist London, United Kingdom Part Time.

Salary: £9.30 per hour

Schedule: 20 hours per week

ADA. National College for Digital Skills (ADA )is a further education college in Tottenham Hale, London. Established to help students progress into highly skilled digital roles.

We are looking to employ an Evening Security Officer/Receptionist to ensure that our client receives a consistent and excellent level of care. Your main responsibility will be to assist in ensuring that the property is managed and operated in line with agreed operating principles to support the achievement of our company goal to be industry leading in service levels to clients and stakeholders. You will embrace the ‘exceed customer expectations’ philosophy of SOS Security.

Hours of work: 16:00 hrs – 20:00 hrs on Monday - Friday every week.

Duties required will include:

Building management:

- Provide reception duties including dealing with frontline enquiries from customers and ensuring that work flows to the appropriate staff member within the team/College.

- Follow up and respond to all enquiries by telephone.

- Manage the Reception Desk and resource area to ensure that it is kept tidy, informative and accessible for all.

- Facilitate approved access for visitors and contractors, and general completion of health and safety administration (Contractor work permits, site safety rules etc)

- Log maintenance requests

- Co-ordinate/liaise with ADA academic and Operational staff.

- Help enhance the experience within the social communal areas.

- Assist in managing arrival and departure procedures ensuring efficiency procedures are adhered to.

- Accurately complete time sheets

Service provision:

- Ensure that service level agreements with ADA are met and that any shortfalls are documented and reported to the Operations Manager.

compliance:

- Support and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with legislation and SIA Accreditation Scheme.

- Support colleagues at both ADA and SOS HQ with regards to requirements pertaining to access and egress.

General:

- Any other duties as required by the Operations Manager.

About you:

To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following:

- A passion for customer care and a sensitivity to clients needs.

- experience of working in a busy customer service environment within the hospitality or education industry or ideally corporate security.

- experience in a customer facing environment.

- Ability to offer flexibility in working hours including provision of out of hours support in an emergency if required.

- A enthusiasm and motivation to be a performance-driven team player.

- Ability to work on own initiative

- Excellent organisational skills and a willingness to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.

- Data management and strong record keeping skills.
