Your responsibilities as aSecurity Officer will include:- Ensure that the hotel provides our guests and fellow team members with a safe and secure environment for them whilst they stay/work with us- Help to facilitate an environment where suspicious behaviour/packages are dealt with efficiently- Reacting proactively to any guest complaints- Adhere to the hotel and Park Plaza Hotels corporate guidelines and service conceptsWe are looking for The ideal Security Officer will:- Be able to differentiate between different guest types and in-house guests- Pro-active team player who easily connects with others.- Ability/experience in patrolling all areas of a hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations- experience in monitoring CCTV and security alarm systems- Confident in assisting in any fire or other emergency situation- Able to deal with changing priorities and work demands- Demonstrates a understanding of the financial implications of the Night Audit- Previous security experience- Pro-active team player who easily connects with others- experience of adhering to hotel and company procedures- Ability to work with high volumes of transactions and meet strict deadlines- Passion for the hospitality industry- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends- Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations- Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure- Possess a good command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
