On behalf of Wilson James, we are currently seeking a full-time professional and customer focused Security Officer to work in South Kensington. (Ref) SOF118.

Wilson James are recruiting a Security Officer for our prestigious Museums based in South Kensington.
Job requirements:
Duties include:
•You are to maintain the highest personal standards of turnout and bearing and demonstrate at all times a professional manner towards your team, Wilson James, and Museum Consortium staff and visitors.
•To ensure that you are fully aware of your duties as laid down in the assignment instructions and that you have signed the ‘Read and Understood’ statement at the rear of the assignmentinstructionsfor all aspects of the operation: core, specialist projects and events.
•You are to comply fully with the assignment instruction and any other reasonable and lawful instruction given to you by your Museum’s Contract Manager, or Supervisor.
•You are to ensure that you are aware of your duty shifts and that you report promptly to commence such duties.
•You are to ‘Book On’ duty before the start time of each of your duty shifts, or to notify the control room should you know that you will be late.
•You must notify the control room if you are unable to attend for a rostered duty.
•You are to deal with any issues found during your shift including reporting of such to the control room.
•You are to ensure that all tasks are completed correctly by the Museum assignment instructions.
•You are to fully brief, verbally and in written form, your line manager regarding any incidents, accidents or unusual occurrences which you have had cause to deal.
•You are to represent Museum Consortium, and the company in the best possible manner at all times.
•You must be alert at all times while on shift to potential hazards; check for fire and flood and report any serious incident (e.g. Flood, fire or theft) to the control room immediately.
•Follow emergency and evacuation procedures; assist in the searching of site/buildings by set procedures.
•In closed parts of museums, you are to challenge any person who is not wearing a valid security badge.
•You are responsible for any equipment issued to you to carry out your duties, e.g. Keys, radios, etc.

AnSIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential for this role. A First Aid Certificate is beneficial for this position.​
