The Role…
The Security Manager will ensure the absolute safety of our direct hotel guests, patrons and employees. By working directly with the Head of Security in support of all departments’ security needs this person will highlight and resolve operational issues in a busy, high volume environment whilst implementing the security strategy to mitigate risk to public and staff safety. To brief and direct all contracted security officers and oversee their activity across our hotel whilst remaining customer focus at the heart of everything we do. To complete regular floor walks, monitor security equipment, record incidents and escalate any unsafe or criminal activity as appropriate. As an integral member of the security team the Security Manager will support and collaborate with the Head of Security to promote a holistic approach to safer ways of working throughout our exciting event space/venues.

You can demonstrate a strong commitment to public safety and show initiative toward hazards, risks and threats. You are completely unflappable in any given situation, and can offer consistent above the line communication to guests and key stakeholders at all times – excellent command of written and spoken English is a must. You inspire confidence to your team and take ownership of individual /department development as a whole. This is a highly guest facing role and you will be expected to engage with our fun loving audience to create unforgettable experiences that are different every day, but special every time.
Previous security experience in a 4*/5* environment. SIA certification essential. Any Health and Safety, First Aid or fire marshal training advantageous.
