Security Concierges With Valid SIA Licence

Job Title: Concierge
Contract: Permanent (subject to probationary period)
Reporting to: Property Manager
Salary: £22,000 to be reviewed annually
Hours:
Day shift 8 am - 8 pm and Night shift 8 pm – 8 am, both positions on a 4 on 4 off basis, and a Mon-Fri role, day shift 8 am – 8 pm.
Property development Management Company specialised in luxury residential and commercial real estate is looking for security concierges to join their team based in central London.
Responsibilities

To provide all necessary services to the residents as per the instructions of the Property Manager. To communicate efficiently with all other members of staff and the residents.
Responsible for the welcoming atmosphere throughout the development.
Responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of the reception area and common parts at all times.
During working hours, you will be located at the reception Concierge desk except when carrying out required work within the building. The concierge desk must be covered at all times.
You will carry out a minimum of three inspections to the entire public parts of the building, one at the beginning, middle and one in the end of your shift to ensure the property is kept clean, tidy and that all electrical/ technological appliances are in good working conditions at all times.
At all times you are to ensure the security of the building is not jeopardised in any way. Main entrance doors will have to be monitored and while at the front desk, you will have to monitor the CCTV feeds.
You are to assist residents at all times together with their guests and visitors when and where required. It should be remembered that your duty is to the residents as a whole, and any assistance given to any individual should not distract from your duties required to the whole.
To perform all necessary porter duties. There duties include but are not limited to: carrying luggage/packages for residents, running errands, cleaning duties as and when required, any other physical activity as required (reasonably).
To receive and distribute all mail. All registered mail and deliveries should be logged before distribution to the individual apartments.
Ensure that you are always courteous, polite and positive to residents, guests, suppliers and the public in general.
To answer the phone and deal with general enquiries. To log messages, requests and events as per the approved procedure by correctly using the tools at your disposal.
To monitor the presence of contractors around the building and supervise their activities to ensure minimum disturbance to residents. This monitoring is to be done in accordance with the agreed procedure.
Log and report any incidence of disrepair by using the appropriate procedure / tool at your disposal. Immediately inform the Property Manager / designated person in their absence. This should include all building defects, plumbing, heating and lighting in the common parts, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. Where such defects are considered an emergency, they should be reported to the Property Manager immediately (24/7) following the emergency procedures as approved.
To collect, securely tie, refuse sacks from the outside of each apartment and place in the bins storage areas provided in the communal parts. Undertake regular inspections around the building to ensure that no bag or rubbish is left in the common parts.
Carry out any additional duties as directed by Property Manager.
Be flexible and hands on in your approach, it is your responsibility to make sure that everything is done in a way that the residents gets a unique experience.
To maintain the highest standards in personal grooming, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct.
Have a good knowledge of London, willing to learn local area information within proximity to the development and keep up to date with changes nearby.
Willing to learn how appliances and equipment operate within apartments assisting residents as and when required.
Good communication skills – written and oral. Ability to listen to instructions clearly.

Requirements:

Eligible to work in UK.
Good use of English, both written and oral.
Valid SIA Licence.
