SALARY: up to £35,000 Basic, plus benefits, overtime, company vehicle, pension.
LOCATION: Office and Field based role covering London, Hertfordshire and surrounding counties.
Must live within reasonable distance from St Albans. Full and Part-Time available.
HOURS: 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, plus out of hours call out Rota including weekends.
You will be installing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of security equipment / systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, and fire alarms, working to the relevant standards, dealing with 50% domestic and 50% commercial customers across London and the surrounding counties. You will be also supplying technical support, advising customers on security issues, equipment use both face-to-face and over the phone.
You may already be working in an employed position, or possibly a sub-contractor looking for more security (plus pension, overtime, and holiday pay) either way you must be a qualified and experienced Intruder Alarm Engineer / Security Alarm Engineer, with good people skills and a strong work ethic.
A reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic Alarm Engineer / Security Technician, ideally with knowledge and experience of Texecom and Risco systems, you will be methodical and technically minded, with a good understanding of electrical and electronic systems, able to work independently or as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and willingness to respond to challenge in a positive manner.
Knowledge / experience of fire alarms is not necessary as assistance will be provided to attain relevant the qualification, but you must possess a full UK driving licence. Own vehicle would be useful, but a van can be supplied.
