At IDS we are technology integrators that specialise in home automation, Audio-visual , data infrastructure and security systems.
We are looking for a candidate to join our growing security team. The salary is negotiable depending of experience.
The individual must have around 2-3 years’ experience in the security industry with the ability to do the following.

Install first fix, the ability to run data cables carefully and efficiently and terminate CAT5/6 cabling.

Install second fix security system such as:

IP Cameras
NVRs
PoE Switches
Access Control readers
Break glass
Exit buttons
Mag locks
PIR Sensors
Door contacts
Internal and external alarm bells

experience in the following products are welcome and a bonus. Paxton, Risco, Geovision.
Some experience or basic knowledge on networking would be ideal, such as allocating IP addresses, port forwarding from routers, setting up DHCP leases and static IP addresses.
We would be happy to provide further training on all of the above. We are looking for a candidate who is driven and eager to learn and develop their career in this industry and progress with the company’s growth with a view to take on more responsibility over time.
