Historic Royal Palaces is the charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle. We help everyone explore the story of how monarchs and people have shaped society in some of the greatest palaces ever built.

The gardens at Hampton Court Palace take a lot of looking after, especially during those busy summer months. Our visitors leave us with great memories – and, unfortunately, a lot of litter.

Working as a member of the Gardens Response Team, you’ll help us keep the grounds clean and tidy, litter picking, sweeping paths, recycling, and compost making. Working on our busy event schedule, along with other support tasks such as collecting and delivering materials, are just some of the varied tasks providing help and support to the other members of the Gardens and Estate Team who are working around the estate.
If you are physically fit, can work alone and as part of a team, and enjoy working outdoors, we can offer you one of the most spectacular working environments around. A driving license would be preferred.

Please note that this seasonal role involves working on a roster which will include working on weekends and Bank Holidays.

Pay Range: 12 - £19,095 per annum pro rata.
